I placed two orders for tool belts and pouches. The first included a pro framer with a max comfort belt combo and a separate ultimate electrician tool pouch with suspenders. The second was for another max comfort belt and a 7-pocket pouch. Initially, I thought I could swap pouches for different trades, but I realized that would be too much work, so I opted to build two complete belts.
Pros: These products are a step above what you’ll find at big box stores and are made in the USA. While they may not match the quality of premium brands like Occidental or Diamondback, they’re well-priced and feel durable enough to last a long time.
Cons: The rivets are a weak point. One arrived broken on my 7-pocket pouch, and given the low-quality rivets used, they may not hold up under stress. I fixed it myself with washers and a pop rivet rather than returning it, given the original rivet quality.
The belt options—plastic buckles or hybrid leather/nylon—are underwhelming, especially when modern Cobra-style buckles are widely available. I’ll use the plastic buckles until they fail, then upgrade to Cobras. Lastly, the suspenders lack sufficient adjustment range. At 5’7” and 155 lbs with an athletic build, I had to tighten them fully to position the belt correctly on my waist. Shorter users may not get use of these. That said, the suspenders are comfortable and feature solid hardware.
While some of these issues feel nitpicky, they’re worth noting. Overall, you get a solid, USA-made product that is thoughtfully laid out at a fair price.
I’ve been using these bags for 15+ years. By far the best electrician tool belt I’ve used.
Excellent, it's what I expected, very comfortable to work with.
