I’m a residential electrician and this bag is perfect for me to use while roughing in a house. Well constructed yet light weight. I put this on my own belt with a hammer holster and a tape holder and it’s a great setup.
BOULDER BAG Comfort Padded Suspenders. High Tech Padded w/ Extreme Support and Comfort for your Tool Belt.
My new bags are comfy, strong, and very well balanced. I can fit all of my tools with ease and also have space for hardware, wire nuts, and other miscellaneous items. The Velcro pouch sewn into the belt is perfect for keeping drill bits, impact bits, and sockets. It’s very evident that the makers of these belts have spent time in the field and know exactly what little things matter.
These suspenders hang off me even when fully tightened
Could be the best built belt out there BUT IT DOES NOT FIT AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY $21 restocking fee despite them not being able to offer a smaller size and their size chart being wildly off. My waist is 31” and I bought a small belt (24”-27” waist size) thinking ‘well tool belts are generally on the larger size’. Talk about understatement. In my email correspondence they said I could have bought return insurance but I did not see these anywhere in the checkout process. Pretty irritated as I’d love to support a smaller company.
I've been using this bag in the field for two weeks now. So far, it is the best toolbelt I have come across. The toolbelt is almost weightless, and the pocket and tool holder locations are ideal. The only thing that I am not 100 percent fond of is the tape measure holder, your tape sometimes gets in the way or falls off if you have to crouch or go to your knees for low work. There is a little nylon space on the back left pockets that holds a tape well however. All and all, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of this toolbelt and have recommended to several other tradesman.
Great quality and perfect size. Not too overwhleming but plenty of space to work with- worth the money.
I placed two orders for tool belts and pouches. The first included a pro framer with a max comfort belt combo and a separate ultimate electrician tool pouch with suspenders. The second was for another max comfort belt and a 7-pocket pouch. Initially, I thought I could swap pouches for different trades, but I realized that would be too much work, so I opted to build two complete belts.
Pros: These products are a step above what you’ll find at big box stores and are made in the USA. While they may not match the quality of premium brands like Occidental or Diamondback, they’re well-priced and feel durable enough to last a long time.
Cons: The rivets are a weak point. One arrived broken on my 7-pocket pouch, and given the low-quality rivets used, they may not hold up under stress. I fixed it myself with washers and a pop rivet rather than returning it, given the original rivet quality.
The belt options—plastic buckles or hybrid leather/nylon—are underwhelming, especially when modern Cobra-style buckles are widely available. I’ll use the plastic buckles until they fail, then upgrade to Cobras. Lastly, the suspenders lack sufficient adjustment range. At 5’7” and 155 lbs with an athletic build, I had to tighten them fully to position the belt correctly on my waist. Shorter users may not get use of these. That said, the suspenders are comfortable and feature solid hardware.
While some of these issues feel nitpicky, they’re worth noting. Overall, you get a solid, USA-made product that is thoughtfully laid out at a fair price.
I’ve been using these bags for 15+ years. By far the best electrician tool belt I’ve used.
Great bag. Has everything you’d want for a carpentry bag. Solid construction and the belt is far more comfortable than some of the more expensive leather based framing belts.
Bought this for my son and his response was that his coworkers want this! He’s on a lift the majority of the time and he’s able to have everything he needs because the pockets are big and accommodate all his necessary tools.
I have had many tool belts over the years for different job requirements, this one I like the most! I love the spacious pockets, I do feel that a few more little tool pockets on the left side pouch and not just the big ones would make it even more versatile, also a few more bit index slots inside the satchel, the belt itself is very nice and the added handles are handy :) The service is amazing too, I ordered a belt and it was too big, they have sent me a replacement quickly! I highly recommend these tool belts!
